Project requirements
Our scope of services for Banner batteries included the expansion of the existing pallet conveyor technology, consisting of roller conveyors, rotary tables, shifting chain conveyors with built-on roller conveyors and a contour checks. We have also installed a new modular belt conveyor system for linking the different production lines and for filling and processing truck batteries.

Limmert
With over 25,000 items in stock and a total area of over 14,200 m², LIMMERT is one of the largest Austrian electrical wholesalers. During a warehouse logistics conversion, the existing container conveyor technology was expanded at the same time by an additional, floor-spanning conveyor technology.
Project requirements
The connection to the new warehouse management system was made by a central PLC control. As a result, the existing electrical installation was expanded and the conveyor line was supplemented with additional fire protection gates. We provided the conveyor technology consisting of container conveyor technology, roller conveyor and barcode scanner.
The entire electrical installation, including control technology, storage space logic and the higher-level PLC control with visualisation was provided by us. We also took care of the production of appropriate conveyor system closures and fire protection gates.

Faie
Already since the 1960s, FAIE Handelsgesellschaft mbH has been considered a pioneer in the areas of wholesale and mail order for agricultural technology and agricultural supplies. FAIE now has a range of over 30,000 agricultural items. For the location in Regau (Upper Austria), HÖRMANN Klatt Conveyors expanded the container conveyor technology and added an automatic container feed in the packing tables area.
Project requirements
As part of the expansion, the removal of the ready-to-ship cardboard packaging was automated. Inclined belt conveyors were used for this, as the removal is handled above the container infeed for reasons of space. The accumulation of the cardboard packaging, with a wide variety of dimensions, takes place via accumulation roller conveyors, which prepare the packages on a gravity roller conveyor for dispatch.

Berglandmilch Aschbach eGen
With around 1,500 employees including subsidiaries, Berglandmilch is the largest dairy company in Austria. The company processes around 1.3 billion kg of milk per year. The product range covers the entire spectrum of dairy products. The milk comes from around 10,000 farms that also own the Berglandmilch cooperative.
Project requirements
We expanded the existing high-bay warehouse for Berglandmilch by another five aisles. Moreover, we were commissioned with the delivery of the complete conveyor technology for the expansion and the necessary conversion in the existing goods outbound. The scope of services included the entire conveyor technology, consisting of roller conveyors, gravity roller conveyors, chain conveyors, roller lifting tables, a rotating lifting table, a rotary table, a loading lifting station, transverse shuttle and scaffolding shaft lifters. The project-specific secondary steel construction was added to this as well as the safety technology, e.g. protection guards.

Mayr Melnhof Leoben
The Mayr-Melnhof Holz Leoben sawmill processes raw materials from managed forests in Styria and the surrounding regions. In addition to spruce, fir and larch are also cut. An on-site biomass power plant with connected electricity production ensures the generation of the energy required for drying the sawn timber and sawdust. The chips are processed in the company's own pellet factory.
Project requirements
The scope of services for this project included modular belt conveyors with 2, 4, 5 and 6 lanes in combination with transport rollers. Hydraulically driven heavy-duty lifting tables were also included, as was a shifting unit for transport (with or without wooden supports by closing transition gaps) and a corner converter (electro-mechanical eccentric lifting mechanism).

Biohort GmbH
Biohort GmbH from Neufelden is the European market leader for garden houses, boxes and plant beds made of metal. The products are 100% made in Austria and stand for the best quality, durability and freedom from maintenance. For the new main plant, including production and logistics, investments were made in a fully automatic high-bay warehouse, among other things. Finished goods, semi-finished products, raw materials and consumables are transported on the fully automated storage and retrieval routes as well as the connection to order picking and production.
Project requirements
With our conveyor technology, the new plant will have the most modern sheet metal processing plant in Austria. One of the central requirements of the project was to develop a coherent system concept tailored to the individual needs of the customer. In close cooperation with HÖRMANN LOGISTIK GmbH as the general contractor, a conveyor system was implemented over two floors, on which conveyor units with dimensions of up to 3,450 x 1,300 x 1,350 mm and a weight of up to 1,200 kg can be transported. The customer contact person was continuously involved in the construction of the installation. This enabled Biohort to proactively help design the facility.
The scope of services includes the pallet conveyor technology, including loading and unloading conveyors, roller conveyors, roller lifting tables, chain conveyors, vertical conveyors, self-propelled traversing carriages, load and pallet control as well as protection and safety technology, including impact protection.
